NAZI COMBAT DRUG SET TO INVADE CLUBLAND

"First 'shaboo', now 'yaba' - the latest in a spate of new drugs with silly names poised to swamp British clubland. The yaba in question, which in Thailand has overtaken heroin as the principle problem drug, was discovered by chemists in Nazi Germany under orders from Hitler to develop a stimulant which would allow troops to fight around the clock

Drug experts are warning that the drug, which has an intense hallucinogenic effect and enables users to stay up for days, is heading for Britain and could supersede ecstasy as clubland's drug of choice. Last month's seizures at Heathrow Airport of two packages of a drug believed to be yaba follow recent confirmed yaba hauls in France and Ireland. Demand for the drug in Britain is said to be on the increase with holiday makers who've visited the Far East and returned with, shall we say, a penchant for yaba."
