after all what meant more, the drug or my life?

Dear ravesafe and readers:

I just wanted to share my story with others in hopes of opening their eyes to the dangers of the drugs that are out there. Well lets just start off by saying that I'm a 19 year old grl who's been rave'n it up for a few years. It wasn't until recently that i have had my eyes opened. I had a very good friend named Crystal (crystal meth), she had been in my life for 3 years. She made me happy when i was down and never left my side. All was fine until i started to get out of control, it wasn't enough to have it just on weekends. Soon my weekend addiction turned into a very daily habit. My family life took a back seat to my addiction. When close friends started to noticed my rapid wheight loss and questioned me about it i would yell and scream at them. It was quite apparent that i had lost weight....I'm 6'4 and dropped down to a nice 80lbs. I couldn't handle the pressures of school and didn't see what fun there was sitting in a desk all day....so i dropped out. My family started to notice what was going on....they noticed that i wasn't sleeping or eating. Even my busy social life went down hill. When confronted by my parents instead of telling them what was going on i took off. I didn't even let them know where i was going or who i was with.

With my parents and most of my friends out of the way i was free to take my habit to its full capacity. I went to a party every day, if there wasn't a party i would make my own. I would use a couple of grams a day. It finally got to the point where i would pass out from the lack of food and sleep. My body couldn't handle it. I got so skinny that you could see every bone. I would bruise from the slightest touch. I got even get a hug without it leaving a mark. Not to mention the way that i was using meth caused me to get a nice case of crystal lung. I began to cough up blood and other things (i'll speare you the details). I couldn't breathe with out coughing....then one day i couldn't breathe at all. my lungs were filling up with blood. The ppl that i lived with found me on my bedroom floor, faced covered in blood. They called an ambulance. I woke up three days latter with tubes all over. My doctor came in and told me if i didn't stop i would be dead by the end of the month. Needless to say I had to stop.... after all what meant more, the drug or my life? Thanks for reading this i hope that it will make you think. Yeah it might be fun now but think of what it could do. I never thought that i would let it get out of hand, but sometimes things are harder then you thought.

Anon.
